GREETINGS: A happy New Year and best wishes for 2020 to all our members.
TONIGHT: Making his first visit to BRS, we’re pleased to welcome Bryan Longbone with his show: “A Centenary of Doncaster Station & Associated Life.”
RAILWAY CHARITY FOR 2020. Our new railway charity for 2020 is “The Friends of Rolleston Station.” Looking forward to 2021 we need to choose a Railway Based Charity for 2021 and this decision will be taken at our A.G.M. on Wednesday 18 March, so far only one suggestion has been made and that is to support the new build 82045 on the Severn Valley Railway. If you have an alternative idea, please see me tonight. After the AGM we’ll present the cheque to members of the Great Central Bridge the Gap Team who in turn will give us an update on the project.
