| The next meeting of RGA will be on Monday, 5 October, 2026 when Grant Cullen will give two presentations: The Quintinshill Railway Disaster and How Railways Were Used in the First World War RGA Meetings take place in the Alexandra Hotel, 203 Siddals Road, Derby DE1 2QE, with presentations starting at 7:30p.m. The room will be open from about 7:00p.m. to ensure a punctual start. There is no charge for admission, but we do suggest a donation of £3 per person to cover necessary expenses. Hot and cold drinks and snack food may be purchased at the bar. The venue is a short walk from Derby Railway Station, which is also served by regular bus services from Derby city centre. There is a small car park at the side of the building, or on-street parking in nearby Canal Street DE1 2RJ, where parking in metered bays is free after 6:00p.m. |
